Lucifer's Atoms

Lucifer's Atoms is a physics-based construction game where players have to build and control objects to complete various challenges.

The simple building primitives can be combined to form interestingly complex machines like cars, walking robots, and aeroplanes. It's an open-ended sandbox for creative design.

Armadillo Run

Armadillo Run is a physics-based puzzle game. You have to build structures with the purpose of getting an armadillo to a certain point in space. There is a selection of building materials, each with different properties, which can be combined to form almost anything. The realistic physics simulation gives you the freedom to solve each level in many different ways.

My Favourite Games

Stephen's Sausage Roll PC, Mac Introduces rotation (rolling sausages) into the block-pushing puzzle genre, giving rather wonderful emergent complexity. One of the best puzzle games I've played.
Jelly No Puzzle PC (freeware) The most easy looking but actually really difficult puzzle game. If you like puzzles then you should play this.
Katawa Shoujo PC (freeware) A story of a boy joining a school for the variously disabled. Possibly not for the very young or easily offended as it contains some sexual content.
English Country Tune PC, Mac Takes traditional puzzle mechanics and warps them into something quite special.
Slay PC A turn-based strategy game for 1-6 players. The simple rules hide a surprising amount of depth.
Silence of the Chicks PC (freeware) An elegantly designed puzzle game. Look past the simple presentation.
Cave Story PC (freeware) Lovable platform shooter.
Devil Dice PlayStation Dice rolling, number matching puzzle game with cute little devils. Updated and re-released as Bombastic on the PlayStation 2, but I like the original more because of the random puzzle levels.
Secret of Mana Super Nintendo A beautiful Japanese action/adventure of the 16-bit era.
Street Fighter 2 Super Nintendo The game that spawned a genre. A classic.
Super Mario World Super Nintendo Platforming perfection.
